New Cooking Lessons
This term the Year 3's have been making pumpkin soup and scones. batch. The soup and scones are so delicious we have been able to sell them to the teachers who love them. The teachers and Gillian helped us make the soup and scones. A special thank you to Gillian, one of our many volunteer workers at the school, who is taking the cooking and gardening groups this term.

Instrumental Music Program
An Instrumental Music Program runs after school.
Children can learn keyboard or guitar. Sessions run for half an hour on Wednesday and Friday nights between 3.30 and 5.30pm. For more information contact The Music School on 9579 5794.
The tuition fees are dependent on the size of the group, which varies from 1-4 students. In these groups we also try to put children of similar ages together.
AFL & Multiculturalism
This year our year 4's are involved in the AFLs Multicultural Schools Program.
The aim of the program is to not only promote the game of Australian Rules football amongst the diverse cultures within our community, but to also give the message to children that racism, in sport or anywhere, is totally unacceptable and should not be tolerated.

Michael Nguyen who has been running these sessions for the AFL has been doing a great job with our children. Michael was the first player of Vietnamese origin to play in what is now the elite TAC Cup for Under 18 footballers and has had experience playing at VFL level.
The children and families attended an AFL match recently.
