Over 100 children are involved in Interschool Sport and a many involved with affiliated Oakleigh South clubs in the sport of Softball, Netball and Basketball.

Many students were selected to represent our school in the Distrct Athletics. We won the 2009 sports Shield (again) We are number one!!!

2008, 15 boys in grades 5&6 represented OSPS in the State Rugby Championships. Everyone played really well and OSPS finished 3rd.
CONGRATULATIONS SOFTBALLERS -STATE PREMIERS!Tuesday 27th November 2007, our Girls Softball team played off in the State Finals at Jells Park. In order to qualify for the State Championships, the team first had to win their District, Zone and Regional Grand Finals.
The State Championship is based on a round robin format which makes for a long and exhausting day of softball. Our girls were well up to the task however, and started the day very well, with a convincing 21-1 win over St Fidelis Primary School from Coburg.
The next game was a little closer, but the result was the same with an 11-2 win to Oakleigh South over Ocean Grove PS. The third game, against Echuca South PS, saw the trend continue with another win, 12-1.
Our last opponents of the day were from Caulfield South PS. This was the closest game of the day, but still saw our girls registering a solid performance to run out winners with an 11-4 score line.With only 5 Regions represented at the titles, this meant our girls had won the title convincingly, being the only team undefeated on the day.
Congratulations to all girls on winning their gold medals.
